Here are my finds from the Topanga formation today.

 

An Oyster some clams and a lot of Turretella

Nice finds from an interesting formation, lots of Turritella over by DC as well in the Aquia Formation. Always a good day collecting them

Difficult to clean though had to use a mini power washer

Looks like you had a good day of hunting. I agree that these look similar to turrutellids from the Aquila formation, though in my experience those tend to crumble rather easily. Yours must be a bit hardier to survive the onslaught of a power washer!

As long as you don't shoot the bottom, if you do the bottom will fly off

I see some of your turritellae have their point almost intact, thay's always interesting because it very often breaks during the life of the animal.
