Below is an armadillo scute from Venice Beach in Florida, stated by the seller to have belonged to a Glyptotherium floridanum. However, it is my understanding that the scutes of another large Pleistocene armadillo, Holmesina, are also rather common in Florida, and the scute does look a lot like scutes identified as having belonged to the latter.
