Alvrr.0
Today, with my father we went to a beach in the Central coast of Chile, in a famous Chilean Paleontology cretaceous site (Los tubos beach) some people know that fossil collecting here in Chile is baned, so I only take pictures of the fossils. The bad part is that the water is so cold so i can't dive to search more in-deep water fossils (I hate cold water ) Enjoy the pictures!

Neanderthal Shaman
Beautiful site! It's a shame you can't keep some of the more common ones, but looking can often be just as good as having. Here in Washington State USA there's a famous site where you used to be able to see many giant palm frond fossils right by the roadside, but they are hard to come by now because people snapped them all up due to the lack of restrictions. I think ideally the legality of fossil collecting would fall somewhere well between the two extremes.
Ludwigia
Thanks for sharing. It really is a pity that you aren't allowed at all to collect, because in this case it looks like lots of them will just be weathered away with time and therefore lost to posterity. 1 Greetings from the Lake of Constance. FossilDAWG
Thanks for showing us around. It would break my heart to have to leave such a nice nautiloid behind! Don
