MYSTERY fossil plant from the Rhode island formation

Hello fellow fossil people! I have this plant that is very unique compared to any others I have found at this site. It is from the Rhode Island formation in North Attleboro.  It is about a centimeter long. Some of the pictures are taken at 20x magnification. Any ideas?

Tough little one, especially from photo! Hope I interpreted the scale descriptions correctly. If so, you may want to compare your specimen to certain species of Alloiopteris, particularly forms like A. saraepontana or A. cristana. See for example Plates 18 and 13 from the dissertation of Brousmiche (1983). The text volume (in French) and atlas can be downloaded here and here, respectively (unfortunately the plates are not scanned in the best quality).

I can definitely see a strong resemblance to this. Thank you very much for the sources and the input. Im glad that this french isn’t too hard to read in between the lines with haha. Guess all that duolingo practice is finally paying off in my paleontology.
