My favorite things about fossil hunting: getting out of my own head, getting into nature and, if I’m lucky, finding some cool souvenirs.

Welcome.

You should try to post your collection pieces under the FOSSIL ID sub-forum.

Please be sure to include where each one was found (Country, state or region, county, if known)

Make sure to include a ruler or tape measure for scale.
Take photos of your items in a well lit area, on a flat surface. Holding them causes blurring.

Number each one, so we can easily refer to which specimen we are talking about.

Welcome from Illinois.

Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!

I'll try that out, thank you!  I've been very interested in finding out about the one that looks like it's a stick.
