bthemoose
Ever since seeing @sharko69's Monster Texas Cretodus, I've dreamed of owning a very large Cretodus tooth. Well, now I have one, and at 6 3/8" on the slant, I believe it to be world-record sized. (I sculpted this using epoxy putty and colored it with acrylic paint.) The top row below is the tooth prior to painting. Here's an in situ shot. 10

I also have over 18,000 songs on my iPod but would be challenged to play a tambourine in time to the music. I now fulfill my artistic/crafty needs by prepping fossils at the FLMNH to try to make them as sturdy and beautiful as possible. Looking forward to seeing more of the OP's work as I'm fascinated by it. Cheers. -Ken
aplomado
Wow, that looks real (except for the size)! I found a Cretodus vertebrae once... and it crumble when we worked it out of the matrix.

bthemoose
I made a display stand for the Cretodus tooth, featuring four other Cretaceous "fossils," all also made out of epoxy putty and painted with acrylic like the tooth itself. That thought had just occurred to me when I saw the excellent display. I wonder if there is a museum local to the OP where your skills at crafting displays might be put to good use? I know some artists with crazy amazing talents who craft wonderful items for exhibits in the FLMNH museum here on campus in Gainesville. Their talent absolutely floors me and I am likewise (nearly) dumbstruck by your work. Should you choose to use your super powers for good I suspect there is a museum that would dearly love to make use of your talents to inspire the public. Cheers. -Ken
