Good evening,

My name is Cal and I am new to The Fossil Forum. I have been collecting fossil and mineral specimens since I was a kid.  I'm from California, but make my way across a lot of the west to collect in the field. By no means am I an expert, and most of my learning has been done via books, the internet, and talking to others who are far more knowledgeable.

I am looking forward to learning from everyone and seeing your collections!

Welcome from Illinois.

Mark.

Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!
