These are some dophin like teeth ive found and just wondering if anyone of them was something different like a bear or something completely different?  All of these teeth except one were found in florida. Most of them in the peace river one of them in gainesville and the other in georgia. The second to last photo was the one from gainesville and the last photo is the one from georgia.

Michael,

I am doing a little guessing here... 1st and 3rd are Dolphin teeth.. The 2nd might be Porpoise (not Dolphin) ,  the 4th is likely a cat incisor.  need better photos on 5th or last..

When you add multiple finds please number them 1,2,3,4 5,.

Life intrudes.  I was very busy the last two days participating in the Spring meeting of The Florida Paleontological Society.  No bandwidth to look at TFF postings.

1) I think your #1 and #3 teeth are dolphin because I have found similar teeth that look like yours and I identify as dolphin.

Update on #3.  It may be Schizodelphis, which is small sharply pointed tooth found in Florida. It is a suggestion based on my experiences.

Your #2 tooth reminded me of a Harbor Dolphin which has spade like teeth.. See this thread

Your #4 tooth is somewhat more similar to a Cat incisor, to me. Others may disagree. What do you think?  Does this look like your #4 tooth or not?

Michael,

You may be correct..  I provide opinions that are never 100% guaranteed. These are based on my experience hunting and finding fossil in my State.  Sometimes I am right , sometimes wrong.   You need to search the Internet,  get familiar with Harbor Dolphin teeth and get familiar with cat incisors.

My belief is based on the end of the root,  Dolphin/Porpoise has a little curl,  Cat Incisors are straight.

The main difference between dolphins and porpoises is their teeth ...
