Tooth identifications!

It is almost layered like a shark tooth. I found it on the sandbar on the Colorado river in south Texas. I’ve seen a lot of teeth but never saw any close to looking like this one. Any clues or ideas would be very much appreciated. Thanks

You have no scale, but this easily could be a plate from a mammoth tooth, probably a part of the tooth that had not yet erupted.

It looks a lot like mammoth enamel to me.

I have found mammoth teeth but never seen them with that much of a cup on them.

Regardless of what exactly it is, it looks like a mammal tooth to me.

You might compare to the plates in this unerupted portion of this mammoth tooth.

Thanks for the information and picture! I’ve looked at a lot and have never seen one like that! I guess I have seen the good ones.

Hey Novak... that looks like a baby mammoth "milk tooth" enamel plate!  Check out this single plate I found. I'm pretty sure that's what you got there.
