This tooth looks bit like one of Xenodens calminechari, so I would like to get opinions could it be one or perhaps something else.

Marocco, Oued zem.

Crown H: 1.0cm, L: 1.0cm, W: 0.6cm.

Appears to be a possible juvenile Halisaurus tooth.

Looks to be a posterior mosasaurine tooth.

I agree with this assessment. Mosasaurine posterior, due to the curvature of the tooth, relative to its carinae.

Thank you everyone for input.

I guess it makes sense. Thin round profile seemt bit unusual. Even at replacement tooth much as it can be seen.20240305_213854.thumb.jpg.59965c1a10917457efeb460ec8bc5853.jpg

But I think I treat it as posterior Mosasaurine indet.

its a distal prognathodon teeth ,small and curved. perhaps thalassotitan .

The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it. Terry Pratchett ...

Thank you.

Could slight medial curvature be cause of jaw position?
