aeon.rocks Posted March 9 Share Posted March 9 The bug is real... About the spines: this is the case that mini spines are not fully prepped, there is matrix left for support. Sometimes matrix is left for support of secondary spines, on species like Koneprusia, Cyphaspis, Erbenochille etc.; and this is the case here. It looks more spiny, than it would without matrix supporting the mini spines, so maybe a little embelished (maybe matrix support is a bit longer than the actual spines); but I would call this a case of good prep - however it depends on your taste - some would call these minispines matrix support fake, some beautiful...
