Ludwigia Posted March 8 Posted March 8 common 1 Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Roger http://www.steinkern.de/
digit Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Crinoids are echinoids (members of the group that includes sea stars and urchins). Crinoid stems and arms are made up of a bunch of little discs (like lots of little discs). As a result they are common finds in rock layers from the time when they were a very common life form. As a result such a fossil does not have much of a monetary value but assuming this was inherited from a favorite relative it should be invaluable to you.
