My mom found this in Casey Key, Florida maybe 10 years ago. Can anyone ID?

It’s her biggest one and we always wondered what it is. But now I’m starting to get more into fossils

This is an extremely well-worn and broken shark tooth. That is the very best you can I.D. this. Saying it is a baby meg is well beyond reason in my opinion.

There are only 3 Sharks that produce teeth of this size that could be found on Casey Island,   so that narrows it down:  Megalodon,  Great White, and Mako...

The Meg and GW both have serrations,  but maybe the serrations wore off.   IF there never serrations,  draw your own conclusions.
