KatrinaCraig
Hi, my son found this on a beach. It's most likely fake but wanted to see what it is. Thanks.

rocket
definitely a claw, might be a modern one. What do you think, it is more stone or "bone"? Is it as heavy as a stone should be or lighter? Edited March 10 by rocket

I would assume it is a modern one. Not sure what animal. Around Torquay-Beach you find sediments of devonian, permian and some younger ones. And modern (after ice-age) Might be one of the members has a good knowledge in modern animals, I only know taste of some
Advantage
It looks like a modern sea rolled crab claw. Edited March 12 by Advantage
Randyw
I'm with advantage. I think it's a crab claw
Carl
Definitely not a crab claw. It would be hollow and the overall shape is 100% theropod. I think it might be a plastic dinosaur claw replica that is water-worn. Edited March 14 by Carl
