more tiny jaws?

Two micro items likely from the Oligocene Chandler Bridge Formation of South Carolina.

Item 1: ~1.2mm long, ribbed on one surface. A grinding plate?

 

 

 

Item 2: 3.8mm long, seems to be capped with irregularly-spaced hollow cylindrical teeth. a chunk from the middle of a fish pharyngeal plate? amphibian?
