Small mammoth tooth maybe? Other ideas? Central Texas

EDIT: Likely just a weird concretion or weathered chunk of rock. 😬Thanks all for the clarification.

Hi all - while looking for Cretaceous fossils, I found some interesting chunks of what I thought might be bone of some kind amongst the piles of white limestone. When I cleaned them up at home, they started to look more and more like a very worn mammoth molar and some other fragments. Can anyone confirm the ID or offer any other info/ideas? Thanks!

I don't see any sign of enamel present.

These pieces look like concretions and chert to me.  I don't see signs of enamel or any of the characteristics associated with mammoth tooth fragments.

I agree with the others, no mammoth or fossil at all

I picked this up the other day here in SE Texas... had it not been for the little bit of enamel at the bottom and the thin line around the back side, I would of thought this was just a rock.  Glad you picked it up and asked about it. You never know.  This could easily have been passed on if I didn't have the slightest curiosity. Check everything.

Thanks for the nice reply! Felt a little silly about this one.

@TSCannon no need to feel silly. I thought I found a canine the other day... was a deer antler. Waaaay off. I grabbed more than my share of solid cow poo in the water thinking it was something else. Good times.  We drive on.
