1 more Chesapeake Beach mammal(?) fossil for ID

1 more from the same location, a vertebra.  Photos 1 & 2 are the front and back, while 3 & 4 show top and bottom. One end appears flat, while the other is crudely pointed. Axis vert?  I was thinking small mammal.  Thoughts?

Axis vertebra, yes. To what is the question. Looks too elongated to be dolphin. Somewhat resembles seal, but I'm not an expert on these. Now you have two reasons to go to the Calvert Marine Museum.
