Hi! Once again, I’ve been looking on online auction site and came across these fossils in a matrix. I only have pocket money to use on it. It is cheap, but I wished to know whether it worth the money. There are more images I can upload.IMG_1612.thumb.jpeg.eff773f9649cdcc87cac5e866c33d6de.jpeg

Is this from the phosphate deposits in Khouribga, Morocco?

Well, I think you have to ask yourself, "Do I want to spend my precious pocket money on a fragmentary fossil that I won't be able to label as I don't know what it is or where it's from?"

Thanks. Do you think I’d ever be able to guarantee what it is? It said it could’ve been a fish bone.

Because if not, no.

I would pass.  Fossils from Morocco are in abundance, and fine specimens can be had for little money, so no need purchasing something fragmentary and unidentifiable

it is a jaw part from a fish, Enchodus-type, as it looks like. Morocco, Phosphates

seems to be original

If you like it and are willing to pay the price, pay it :Smiling:

Or buy one on a local fair, they do come up very often and most of the moroccean dealers have several

Looks like a fish jaw. Probably Enchodus based of faunal abundance but there are several other potential identities.

Oh, so sorry. I thought it was glitching, my mistake.
