GEORGE-GR-68
Hi Group, Looking for ID, I am not an expert please forgive any possible mistake. Is this Stichocentrus sp OR Ctenothrissa ? OR something else? Item/matrix originates from Byblos , Lebanon but unknown from which exact deposit. Matrix size: 92 mm X 58 mm, weight: 211 gr fish size: 75 mm (tail to nose) X 34 mm (back to lower end of the belly) Does not respond to black light not any glow (I have no idea if this helps, I just see on the web they do this for many fossils). thanks in advance for any possible help.
oilshale
The fish is shown with its belly facing upwards. I would guess Diplomystus birdi.
