Hi there, a girlfriend of mine has recently brought a property in Peachester, Queensland. This property was previously owned by a geologist,  as well as a archaeologist, (... something along those lines ) who had a couple truck loads of "rocks " dumped at the property, for whatever reason.

They've since run out of money so they sold up and hit the road.... my friend and I are discovering some amazing things but we have no idea what most of them are  - please help... this is just  taste of what's there...

The amount is somewhat overwhelming. I believe I'm seeing a majority of rocks and minerals and very few fossils if any. Please do us at least the favor of numbering your photos which would make it much easier for referring to them.

I don't see any fossils that I can identify.

Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!

The "3 Sided" one looks like it could be a bivalve shell, but the rest all look like rocks/minerals from what I can tell.  I guess the first one could be some broken shell material, but when I zoom in on it it looks more like some sort of clay coating.

@hbomb99 Hello, and welcome.  It would be most helpful if you could post your items with reference numbers of some type.  That will make it easier for users to know which photos belong to which item.  It will also help them to identify which item they're talking about when they try to give an ID.

Also, for future reference, posting 2-3 items at a time will help make it easier for users to focus in on each individual item, and it will allow you to describe what features of the item led you to think it may be a fossil so that others can focus on that.

I mostly see chert, limestone, ironstone and concretions.  I don't see any fossils in these items.  But I do see what looks to me like a couple of lovely pieces of rose quartz.
