Groundworks
I have many different types of fossils. I am so new to fossils so I am requesting help identifying a few of these finds. All of these were found in El Paso County, Colorado.
Fossildude19
Welcome to the Forum. I'm not really seeing anything fossil related here, unfortunately. 3 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." Mark Kmiecik
The last photo looks like metamorphic rock. Because of how metamorphic rock is formed, it is not likely to contain any fossils that can be distinguished from the stone. Google metamorphic rock and you'll understand why. Mark. Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!
Groundworks
That just makes so much sense, I can see that. I'll keep that guy as a pet. I really appreciate all of this great info. I don't know much at all about fossils.
