I found it in an old sewing box. I wondered if it was a tusk or tooth. Antler, would an antler come OUR of a skull with a slightly rounded bulbous end? In that color and smooth texture??

That it came from a sewing kit makes it even more likely. Antlers have been shaped and polished and used as awls for centuries. My brother in law used to have one for leather working. Heres some examples…
