Real root on Spinosaurus tooth ?

Recommended Posts

Hello, i saw this fully rooted Spinosaurus tooth for sale today. The root seems kinda original, but there are some suspicious areas in it. But they do not cover completly around the tooth. Maybe some bad crack filling was done, what happend also visible on this tooth ?

Let me know what you think about it !

I have never seen a Spino tooth from Morocco that doesn't have that reddish coloration to it. So that right there is throwing me off. But doesn't necessarily mean anything either way.

I am interested to see what others say.

Something does look off to me where the root and crown meet.

I like Trilo-butts and I cannot lie.

Root is fake. Seller is pointing it perfectly at picture 2 were the tooth and fabrication is attached to eachother.
if you see a darker or different structure , circling the complete tooth its always a mayor red flag. In almost al cases its a fabrication

Root is partially real. Crown to thumb area. Beyond that it is fake
