interesting..., have seen some bones named as Stego but was really unsure if it is or not...

 

@Tidgy's Dad: do you have the paper about it? Tried to download it a minute ago from the net but does not work

doesn´t matter, I´ll send a request to one of the authors, helped him two years ago in a paper, so he cannot do other things than support me :D

There are now not one, but two stegosaurs from the Middle Jurassic of Morocco.

 

The Greek word thyreos in the name Thyreosaurus refers to an oblong shield used by foot soldiers in ancient Greece, and Thyreosaurus is an armored dinosaur like all other eurypodan thyreophorans.
