Hello, I saw this Spinosaurus claw on auction today and wanted to know if its partially real or a complete fabrication.

Sice : 5,2 inch

It was apparently found in the Kemkem beds, morocco.

Its a complete fabrication,

Made from pieces of carved bone, the tip is added.  Also the shape is way to perfect , as for the bloodgroves clearly carved out.
They are getting beter in alligning the pieces of  bone following the curve of the claw, but you can still see it. Sad

Wow, good to know.

I dont know how often my low budget saved me from these abbominations, but its now very often. Looks like if the morrocan dudes are becoming better at making these, I thought it was real at first.
