Possible bone fossil?

Hi all! First post here! I'm a newbie fossil enthusiast, went fossil hunting near Whitby and found this interesting piece.

I'm not quite sure what it might be? It's about the size of a playing card, and from what I can tell it has pyrite growing on the sides of it.

I gave it a good wash and scrub with a toothbrush, any thoughts?

Thanks!

Welcome to the Forum.  :)
I am not really seeing any recognizable bone texture to this. (But bones aren't really my thing, to be fair.)

Wait for some other opinions.
