Daughter found this on beach what is it?

My daughter found this today on the beach in north wales United Kingdom, near to where some sea lions live just wondering is it a fossil or just a tusk or is it neither ? Thanks

Im not 100% sure on this one, but im getting crab claw vibes from that.

In the north sea, there are some big crab species like "cancer pagurus" or lobsters, which claws can get absolutely massive.

But when I look at lobster claws, they dont seem to match, so I would guess, and im not an expert, that this might be a worn and old "cancer pagurus" upper claw half. Big crabs of this species can have a body lenght (without legs) up to 20 centimeters, and can get (also without legs) up to 30 centimeters wide. So now imagine the claws of a crab this big. You definetly dont want to get your finger in between them.
