ClearLake Posted May 6 Share Posted May 6 That is half of an atlas vertebra of a cow. I would agree, probably modern and probably butchered (cut looks pretty smooth and nearly perfectly in the center, but it is a bit tumbled around so could be natural). You didn’t give us a size, but all the features match up pretty well with a cow.
