This partial vertebra has me stumped. It was found on the Brazos River in Southeast Texas…..Pleistocene. Thanks for looking and hopefully steering me in the right direction

I would be looking at sloth, based on the overall size, the large neural canal, and the extended processes on the front of the vertebra.

It kinda has that weird sloth-y texture as well.
