syl1219s
Hi! I wanna know about Species of leonaspis. If from Hmar Laghdad, Morocco. And this trilobite has pointed horn. The trilobite together in the rock is a Reedops cephalotes. What is it? Thank you!
piranha
Typically Leonaspis has two pairs of spines between the pygidial major border spines and Kettneraspis has one pair of spines. Unfortunately, the poor preparation and preservation of the pygidial features does not allow for a confident ID of the genus.

I found a similar-looking trilobite on online fossil retailer, but it's difficult to tell whether the trilobite from online fossil retailer is Leonaspis or Kettneraspis. Do you know the species of this trilobite? https://www.online fossil retailer.com/fossils/big-1-4-leonaspis-trilobite-with-free-standing-spines Edited May 22 by syl1219s

There are numerous odontopleurids from Morocco that have not been formally described.

But, although my major isn't paleontology, I think it's good from another perspective because there are still many topics available for writing papers. Thank you!
