JimB88
I have a trackway with the squiggly lines your calling nematodes, but the collector I bought it from said they were from small fish tail marks as they were trying to escape the birds (whose tracks are also there.) Hmmmm..
Auspex
I have a trackway with the squiggly lines your calling nematodes, but the collector I bought it from said they were from small fish tail marks as they were trying to escape the birds (whose tracks are also there.) Hmmmm.. I think fish tail marks are larger, with less perfect consistency over the length of their run. dhk
Auspex, yes you would be right on there, fish tail impressions would be very random in both depth and structure. These are from a much more consistant tracking critter.
