This is really light, not sure what it may be.

Some location information would probably help in making an ID, such as city or county and state. That will help pin down the geology of the area and aid in detemining age, etc. I am not familiar with your area, but my first impression is a fossil burrow cast. However, the lines on the side make me wonder.

I knew I forgot something... I found this one around the St. Paul, MN area... I was thinking about those lines too, they look like lines you can see on antlers.

perhaps a very worn coral head. I don't see a borrow here.
