Foshunter
Found this at the Tampa Fossil Fest several years ago in a box behind a vendors table with other Pliocene shell from a shell pit around Sarasota, Florida. We find modern shells of this species on the beach but the spines are worn to nubs from the surf. Thought this specimen of Arcinella ( Spiney Jewel Box) had the wow factor and couldn't pass it up.--Tom Grow Old Kicking And Screaming !!"Don't Tread On Me"

Frank Menser
They are a showy fossil, You can find good (unworn) examples in several localities in South Florida. Be true to the reality you create.
