Transtional Great White Tooth

Here's a great tooth I was very lucky to acquire; a 2 7/8" transitional Great White tooth from Chile with no repairs or restorations. The serrations fade towards the tip, but are definitely present at the base.

taht tooth is very nice but i was just thinking about how mean it would have been to get bitten by him, cuz when the bite started you'd be goin' "well, at least it's not serrated" and then suddenly OWIE! OWIE! OWIE!

doesn't seem fair.

""well, at least it's not serrated" and then suddenly OWIE! OWIE! OWIE!"

This made me laugh thinking about it. A laugh is always a good start to the day.

in this case it means its kind of in between having the characteristics of two different recognized species, like it was caught mid-evolution kind of thing.you got yer sharks with serrated teeth, and your sharks with non-serrated teeth, and then the ones whose serrations don't seem like they've made up their minds yet who they're gonna be.
