calciteguy
Was out for a few hours today and found some very cool inverts near Nix, Texas. The road was literally paved with oyster shell fossils. Also good gastropod casts and 2 echinoid species found. Will post pics in a couple of days. Finally some FUN! MikeD
Sounds kind of like a spot I have hunted in that general vicinity.
calciteguy
Here's a couple of shots from the site. More will follow. Fossils included oyster, 2 species of echinoids, gastropds, and other stuff still to be determined. Where I'm kneeling the surface was littered with inverts.
