Thanks. I hear that the people that run the Middleport quarry are going to use this photo in their new Rochester Shale book. They say it is the best Lingula to ever come out of the quarry. I wonder if the 10 years of drying in those flats helped consolidate it and it came out so nicely. Those flats that I had to take had a date of 1998 on them, so I assume they were collected that year.
