British Columbia is full of such undiscovered treasures. The science of paleontology, still in it's infancy, in BC relies heavily on contributions by amateurs like Graham Beard. It's unfortunate, however, that the actual discoverer of the fossil in question was not properly honoured by having the specimen named after her!! So in light of this I would like to say congratulations to Sharon Hubbard for her fantastic discovery and hope that she eventually gets the credit she is due!

Don't forget this video news story about also.

I haven't see the paper but it's my understanding Sharon is not even mentioned as discovering it!
