RussM
Not really much as far as trips go, but this time of year we take what we can get with regards to the weather. The day after Christmas we got out for the afternoon and poked around in a local outcrop I'd been wanting to investigate. Found some leaves, this outcrop has been mapped as both Willwood and Fort Union. Not too bad for the last outing of the year. The first outing of the year was Jan. 23, and didn't last long; the temperature wasn't bad but the breeze was a little brisk (about 30 mph). We did find a few devil's toenails, though, before we decided to head for home. So, we bracketed the New Year, and with any luck at all we'll get out more this year. Someday I may even learn to take a decent picture.
