Crinoid Queen
Last August when Matt cable and Placoderms came down and hunted with me I was so excited about all the big plates we found that I placed one small crinoid in a baggie and placed it high upon a shelf in my house. There it sat collecting dust until yesterday when I decided to dust my self of brick a brake off. Ah Ha!!! How could I have forgotten about this beauty! It is another Macrocrinus mundulus but it is completely free! I started prepping it out and I cannot believe the pinnules are incredibly preserved on this! On the other side I love how the anal tube is exposed and the end is crystallized! This will make an awesome necklace!

barefootgirl
Beautiful. I would love to see a pict of it once you get it turned into a necklace.
