A Nice Green River Fm. Feather

Auspex

Recommended Posts

Larger feathers are hard to come by, so I take a shot at every one that comes to market.

This one is right at two inches, with good definition and decent contrast against an attractively variegated matrix (though I may break down and matte-coat it to heighten the contrast). Size-wise, it is in my top ten, and is the second longest I have without any repairs.

Thank you!

Part of my up-grade campaign (way too many little ones found their way into the collection over the years....).

That's beautiful, way to go Auspex.

Auspex.... Very nice aquisition... Is focusing on the larger feathers a type of 'down' up-sizeing... ;)
