Auspex
Larger feathers are hard to come by, so I take a shot at every one that comes to market. This one is right at two inches, with good definition and decent contrast against an attractively variegated matrix (though I may break down and matte-coat it to heighten the contrast). Size-wise, it is in my top ten, and is the second longest I have without any repairs. Part of my up-grade campaign (way too many little ones found their way into the collection over the years....). barefootgirl
That's beautiful, way to go Auspex. In formal logic, a contradiction is the signal of defeat: but in the evolution of real knowledge, it marks the first step in progress toward victory.
