Diplotomodon
Here's the actual paper abstract. BBC news aricle. A whopper discovered quite recently, although how I failed to notice this I've no clue, it's very cool! EDIT: Dave Hone's (the paleontologist who named it) blog article on the subject: http://archosaurmusings.wordpress.com/2011/03/31/zhuchengtyrannus-is-here He also has other posts about it (correct size estimates and stuff), just go to the home page and scroll down a bit. Can't miss the artwork Edited April 6, 2011 by Crimsonraptor What a wonderful menagerie! Who would believe that such as register lay buried in the strata? To open the leaves, to unroll the papyrus, has been an intensely interesting though difficult work, having all the excitement and marvelous development of a romance. And yet the volume is only partly read. Many a new page I fancy will yet be opened. -- Edward Hitchcock, 1858 Formerly known on the forum as Crimsonraptor @Diplotomodon on Twitter
piranha
Thanks CR !! An instant classic ... the teeth are spectacular and the name is priceless. China is a big place and I imagine they will not leave one stone unturned in their quest to discover a complete skeleton. The quest for global dominion does have its perks ... hope they find one !!
