Scylla
I'm a bit upset by the Press' scientific illiteracy ("flying dinos known as pterosaurs") but maybe we can find a better version of this article on night vision in early reptiles based on scleral ring fossil size. http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5id-tPHgiMY9ENICdvZDGJCzMghGA?docId=CNG.81e3f073a7ff60182e936e010de882cd.8f1
Scylla
Here is a much better version...My link with a video too. The study abstract linked in the article seems to be more about how phylogenetic relationships have a greater than expected influence on physical chracteristics than on dino behavior. Nandomas
Velociraptors hunted by night while the big plant-eaters browsed around the clock, according to a new study of the eyes of fossil animals: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2011/04/110414141354.htm Edit: Topics Merged Erosion... will be my epitaph! http://www.paleonature.org/ https://fossilnews.org/
