danielp
Met up with creekcrawler at poc this morning for some fossil hunting. We both found a large ptychodus at the first location we went to. All togethere I ended up with 9 ptychodus and a couple of nice smaller shark teeth along with one that would have been awesome had the root not been broken. barefootgirl
Very nice! I see you found another one of my marbles that I lost down there. fossiladdict
Cool- I like finding the marbles too! Rarely do I not find one. I also find a lot of old womens metal makeup containers. Keep waiting to find someone who collects that type of stuff so I can give it to them . Fossils are simply one of the coolest things on earth--discovering them is just marvelous! Makes you all giddy inside!

There is also a beautiful mother of pearl button and a neat little porcelain doll that I sifted up on another trip. A neat little friend that I made out there today An Austin chalk outcropping at POC A very large Ptychodus whipplei hiding under a rock And the the group photo of today's take.
