Cape May Hunting Trip

The wife and I went on a trip to Cape May, NJ this past weekend. She hunts beach glass and shells, and of course I hunt for fossils. Here are some finds. There is several types of coral. Some in matrix. There is also a large shell fragment.

With rocks in my head, and fossils in my heart....

Nice that you were able to find some fossils down there among all the sand!

We also like to go to Sunset Beach, Highbees beach and find these. Besides corals (favosites), there are many bryozoans to fe found, and with some luck - a few crinoids.

Nice finds going to ocean city nj this summer and plan on heading down to cape may to do some fossil hunting.
