bigjohn835
The wife and I went on a trip to Cape May, NJ this past weekend. She hunts beach glass and shells, and of course I hunt for fossils. Here are some finds. There is several types of coral. Some in matrix. There is also a large shell fragment. With rocks in my head, and fossils in my heart.... Shamalama
Nice that you were able to find some fossils down there among all the sand! -Dave __________________________________________________ Geologists on the whole are inconsistent drivers. When a roadcut presents itself, they tend to lurch and weave. To them, the roadcut is a portal, a fragment of a regional story, a proscenium arch that leads their imaginations into the earth and through the surrounding terrain. - John McPheeIf I'm going to drive safely, I can't do geology. - John McPheeCheck out my Blog for more fossils I've found: http://viewsofthemahantango.blogspot.com/

pedrobento
We also like to go to Sunset Beach, Highbees beach and find these. Besides corals (favosites), there are many bryozoans to fe found, and with some luck - a few crinoids. Pedro Bento, M.Sci.
