PrehistoricFlorida
I was able to acquire this superior tooth over the weekend. Auriculatus teeth of this size and condition are nearly impossible to find. This is probably one of the top five auriculatus teeth in this size range that I've handled. Enjoy! Does anyone else here have some 3.5"+ auriculatus teeth? Let's see them!! www.PrehistoricFlorida.com
Diplotomodon
For a fossil to earn the triple drool treatment is quite an accomplishment! Amazing tooth! What a wonderful menagerie! Who would believe that such as register lay buried in the strata? To open the leaves, to unroll the papyrus, has been an intensely interesting though difficult work, having all the excitement and marvelous development of a romance. And yet the volume is only partly read. Many a new page I fancy will yet be opened. -- Edward Hitchcock, 1858 Formerly known on the forum as Crimsonraptor @Diplotomodon on Twitter

Shellseeker
Fantastic tooth -- I have a prejudice for "medium" size shark teeth in the range of 2-4 inches, because I believe they are just better preserved, more attractive, etc than larger teeth.. But with this Ric, you could start changing my mind. Beauty AND size, what a combination!!! EDITED -- And Harry, you demonstrate that there are all sorts of definitions of beauty-- that Sokolowi is gorgeous Edited June 12, 2011 by Shellseeker The White Queen ".... in her youth she could believe "six impossible things before breakfast"

THobern
I have only got one big ric. It's a 3 7/8", pathological tooth from Morocco. Probably would have been over 4" if it weren't for the tip damage. A hydration crack on the front was filled.
