Paul Snyder
I decided to turn my home office into my own little Dino-Museum, of sorts. It's a work in progress and I hope to add some real fossils in the future. But for now, my collection of fossil casts will have to suffice. I will be adding more fossil casts in the very near future, including a T.rex full-skull (specimen TMM-1468-1) and a few smaller carnivorous dinosaur skulls. I'll add them to this thread once they arrive. Edited June 17, 2011 by Paul Snyder

Paul Snyder
Thanks everyone! Chele- The majority of my casts were purchased from Taylor-Made Fossils. The rest were found on ebay.

Diplotomodon
I need a place like that Very cool! What a wonderful menagerie! Who would believe that such as register lay buried in the strata? To open the leaves, to unroll the papyrus, has been an intensely interesting though difficult work, having all the excitement and marvelous development of a romance. And yet the volume is only partly read. Many a new page I fancy will yet be opened. -- Edward Hitchcock, 1858 Formerly known on the forum as Crimsonraptor @Diplotomodon on Twitter
Axelorox
Very impressive! I especially like the little Papo Allosaurus diorama. How much did this all cost you though? From what I've seen casts can get pretty expensive.
Paul Snyder
Very impressive! I especially like the little Papo Allosaurus diorama. How much did this all cost you though? From what I've seen casts can get pretty expensive. I'm not sure exactly how much I have in them, probably more than I care to add up... And I've got a couple more skulls on the way. Thanks for kind comments! And THANKS Crimsonraptor and Astron! I appreciate it!!

Paul Snyder
Nice casts. Thank you Steve, Fossil Maniac and MikeD!! Okay, just for fun I added a human head (lifecast I hand painted a while back for my home theater, but never used), to show scale next to the T. rex half-skull. I'm a huge dork, I know. Auspex
Here's my favorite of two reproductions in my display: It's a third cousin to your Rex "There has been an alarming increase in the number of things I know nothing about." - Ashleigh Ellwood Brilliant “Try to learn something about everything and everything about something.” - Thomas Henry Huxley >Paleontology is an evolving science. >May your wonders never cease! tracer
years ago i spent a month in okc one week, but i may have to change my perspective of the place to work in your impact on the venue. very interesting environment you're creating for yourself there. gotta add at least one or two real dino fossils at some point, tho, just so (paleo)life can imitate art.
