Caprolite?

Hello everyone, I found this in a Grayson county Tx creek and I think it's a Cap.

It's very heavy for it's size!

Any second opinions?

Very heavy for size, suggests it could be a Baryte nodule. It does look like it could be a dirty/iron stained one. Any Baryte found in that are?

I too, have found several of these in Grayson County TX, is yours like sand stone???????????

Like Bill wrote, if it is Barite, it will be very heavy for it's size. The first few time barite is picked up, it kind of fools the brain.
