Haizahnjager
http://cgi.ebay.com/Late-Paleocene-Early-Eocene-Biotic-and-Climatic-Even-/360363152223?pt=US_Nonfiction_Book&hash=item53e751535f I was wondering if anyone had this book and is it worthwhile to purchase? Does it have many fossil plates/pictures? Any insight would be much appreciated. -HZJ
Auspex
The description on Amazon makes it sound like mostly technical text, with 180 illustrations on 508 pages. "There has been an alarming increase in the number of things I know nothing about." - Ashleigh Ellwood Brilliant “Try to learn something about everything and everything about something.” - Thomas Henry Huxley >Paleontology is an evolving science. >May your wonders never cease! FossilDAWG
It's a compilation of research articles about paleoclimactic trends, biodiversity, and such bridging the Paleocene/Eocene boundary. It is not a taxonomic work, and would not be very useful for fossil identification. However, if you have a serious interest in understanding the world your fossils represent, it might be a good investment. The price is very reasonable for a technical text of this sort. Haizahnjager
Thanks guys, though I'm still on the fence. There are so many texts out there I would like to put in my library, but due to funds, must be selective. -HZJ
