nala Posted July 28, 2011 Share Posted July 28, 2011 During the week,i also went to Andrarum,a very old Alun Quarry in the south of Sweden,with the advices of Swedjo and Dromiopsis,i was easy to find this lost location in the middle of nowhere Despite the mosquitos(hundred!!!! )it's a nice Cambrian site,and thanks to Dromiopsis ,i found few nice slabs wich are like pictures of the life at this time,like illustrated books part of the site mosquitos paradise! first Olenus truncatus Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's very hard to identify Olenus species... very often pygidium, mobile sheeks are missing...here 2 files who can help you For the agnostid, if it's close to the Olenus level, Homagnostus obesus is a good candidate. My problem on swedish site wasn't the mosquitos...it was ticks...I caught "borréliosis"...and a big antibiotic treatment... D Oh gosh, I just hope you realized that early enough! If the treatment starts too late, borreliosis can cause a lot of problems. It's quite common in the scandinavian countries(Sweden, south of Norway), after you have removed the tick, you have to look after the evolution on the skin,If you see a pink circle growing...direct to the doctor...
