Ive been looking for this one for quite some time now. Its sad that this is quite common but this is my first snakeskin like bark impression. Just wanted to share this with yalls. I did find a nice Stigmaria root impression fossil but the rock was way to big (100 lbs). I hurt my back trying to get it.

Next part I want to find is the cone of the Lepidodendron then the tree is complete. I have a fascination with plant fossils but yeah I need to branch out and find other things too. Around here its not very likely to find stuff other than plant fossils. Even though about 10 miles from here things have been found that are in museums today. I just need to figure out where to hunt in that area. All in all 95% of the stuff found around here are plants.
